SCFCU is dedicated to providing Financial Education through various channels to as many residents of Chautauqua County as possible. We would like to thank Justin Hanft for the invitation to speak to his students at Maple Grove High School. The students were eager to learn, respectful, and interacted with us at a high level.

We take pride in celebrating our members’ money-saving success. In the month of February alone, our members collectively saved a total of $49,753 in interest by choosing to refinance their loans through us! At SCFCU, we prioritize helping our members save by focusing on the person rather than just their credit scores. Our goal is to alleviate financial stress and assist members in reaching their goals faster and more affordably through personalized lending approaches. Interested in discovering your potential savings opportunities with us? Contact our loan department today for a personalized assessment. They want to help keep more money in your pocket!

“For 20 years, we've been holding mock interviews for high school students, DECA, and Career and Financial Management classes. Our goal is simple: to get students ready for their first job interviews and feel confident speaking about themselves. We aim to teach them how to prepare, dress, and answer questions during interviews. Our hope is to arm students with the tools necessary to perform a successful interview and land that job!” - Teena Chau, Chief of Operations at SCFCU

Congratulations to the graduates of the most recent Goodskills Career Builder program! Participants have been equipped with a variety of skills to further their careers. The Goodskills Career Builder program is an initiative of the Chautauqua Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC). This program assists individuals by providing targeted skills training and job placement services into higher wage careers. This four-week training is provided at no charge and connects participants directly with hiring employers in our community. SCFCU is proud to be one of the organizations participating in such an important project by providing essential training topics including financial education, cyber security, and buying a car.
